The best holidays ever
Well, this is one of the most entertaining things i'd ever done. This summer, in February i traveled to San Pedro de atacama, Salar de Uyuni and Machu Picchu with my boyfriend, we went like backpackers from Calama to Machu Picchu, or at least that was the idea, eventually we had to take a bus, so it didn't result as a real backpacking trip, anyway it was the best trip i ever done, we was out for two weeks, and many times with nothing of internet, i liked this especially because it was like a real desconection, knowing nothing about the world.
When our travel begin we stayed in a camp in calama for two days and then we went to San Pedro, when we stay in other camp for three days. On those days we rent a bike and were to Valle de la Luna, a beautiful place, so diferent to Santiago that i couldn't ever imagine that, even watching pictures, after that we hang out with some friends that were there too.
Our next step was Salar de Uyuni, and i think i can't explain how big it is, and how amazing its the view, also it was a really sheap place and we were lucky because there was in bolivian or altiplanic winter, so how it rains, the salar was full of water and the reflexes of the sky in the water look unreal.
To finish this post, my favourite place we visit, Machu Picchu. I literally could live there and never stop wonder about it. The weather it's really cool, one day it's hot and an hours later its raining like in a jungle, not to mencion the big mountains that surrounded the town "Aguas Calientes", when i looked up at night i get vertigo for feeling so small.
I could write about it all day, but i prefer recomend to like the experience, we camp there too and it's not expencive at all, you all should try to go!.
